Each day, normal activities are carried out. Work, school, exercise, eating, etc. are just a few of them. Routines are made from such activities. Most people plan their routines down to the minute. The times are set for what needs to get done. There begins to be a natural flow of things. Sometimes these normal or natural things get interrupted by the supernatural. An event occurs with no other explanation other than supernatural. It just cannot be explained. Healing, safety and deliverance, relationships restoration, and many others are results of these events. Who is behind these happenings? Is it God!
The Holy Bible definitely points to God as the originator and creator of the supernatural. The Scriptures calls these events miracles. Miracles are when God steps in and does what is humanly impossible. This verse is mentioned twice, “He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.”(Job 5:9 & 9:10) Jesus is the miracle that gives eternal life to all who believe in Him.
Jesus, the Son of God, also did miracles throughout His ministry. He made the lame to walk, the blind to see, and raised the dead. He fed thousands with a small sack lunch. The greatest miracle was His death on the cross taking the sin penalty away from the world. It did not stop there. He conquered death and lives to make intercession for the saints.
“How shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.”(Hebrews 2:3-4)
