Former Utah Utes star and current Minnesota Vikings running back Matt Asiata leads our Week 13 Big Winners after getting his first yardage of the 2013 season on Sunday, December 1.

The Ute best known for his punishing runs in college has had a trying year to be sure -- what with the death of his father earlier this fall in a bus accident in Utah.

But, it's nice to see that tragedy doesn't spell doom for players like Asiata, who continues to play great on special teams for the Vikings -- and may someday get his big break.

Switching gears for a moment, the Seattle Seahawks and ex-Utah State greats, running back Robert Turbin and Bobby Wagner continue to do their thing in the Pacific Northwest.

The Seahawks are now 11-1 with the best record in the NFL in part to the tremendous work that both Aggies are putting in.

And how about former Cottonwood Colt Stanley Havili? The current Indianapolis Colts running back had a nice day as well as he juggles work and family obligations.

This week, it's all about the backfield as players from the state of Utah strut their stuff in prime time.
