Over the years, there have been many vampires, werewolves, witches, aliens, cyborgs, and superhumans on television. And let’s face it: most of the time these characters are rather attractive--sometimes very much so, as is evidenced by the following list!
Though this list will count down 50 of the hottest vampires, werewolves, witches, aliens, cyborgs, and superhumans ever to be on TV, this particular article only lists the first 25. Click here to see the second article, which lists numbers 26-50!

Clark Kent (or Superman), played by Tom Welling on “Smallville” is an alien from Krypton. His superpowers include invulnerability, super breath, heat vision, X-ray vision, flight, and superhuman strength, speed, sight, and hearing.
Max Guevara, played by Jessica Alba on “Dark Angel,” is a genetically enhanced transgenic super-soldier who was created for a secret government program called "Manticore.” She is an X5 model and is referred to as X5-452.
Jed Harper, played by Theo James on “Bedlam,” was a human with the ability to see ghosts and receive visions of their deaths. He appeared in the first season of the show.
Phoebe Halliwell, played by Alyssa Milano on "Charmed," is a witch. She's one of the 'charmed ones' and has a few notable powers: premonitions, levitation, and empathy.
Alec (X5-494), played by Jensen Ackles on “Dark Angel,” is a genetically enhanced super-man who was trained to be an assassin and a soldier. He also had an identical twin named Ben.
Six, played by Tricia Helfer on "Battlestar Galactica," is a Cylon. There are many copies of Six, but the one we see most often is sometimes referred to as 'Caprica Six.'
Damon Salvatore, played by Ian Somerhalder on “The Vampire Diaries,” is a vampire. He lives in Mystic Falls and is in love with Elena Gilbert (played by Nina Dobrev). He also has a vampire brother named Stefan.
Seven of Nine
Seven of Nine, played by Jeri Ryan on "Star Trek: Voyager," was born human but assimilated by the Borg when she was very young.
Max Evans, played by Jason Behr on “Roswell,” is an alien/human hybrid who crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 along with a group of fellow hybrids. The hybrids, however, didn’t emerge from their pods until 1989.
Cordelia Chase, played by Charisma Carpenter, first appeared on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." It wasn't until she crossed over to "Angel," however, that she acquired the ability to see visions of those in need.
Eric Northman, played by Alexander Skarsgard on “True Blood,” is a vampire living in the small town of Bon Temps in Louisiana.
Kara (AKA Supergirl), played by Laura Vandervoort on "Smallville," is Clark Kent's Kryptonian cousin. The actress now plays a werewolf on "Bitten."
Stefan Salvatore, played by Paul Wesley on “The Vampire Diaries,” is a vampire. He lives in Mystic Falls and is in love with Elena Gilbert (played by Nina Dobrev). He also has a vampire brother named Damon.
Katherine Pierce/Elena Gilbert
Nina Dobrev plays more than one vampire on "The Vampire Diaries." She plays both Elena Gilbert and her doppelgänger (well, one of them) Katherine Pierce.
Alcide Herveaux, played by Joe Manganiello on "True Blood," is a werewolf living in the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana. The character has appeared in the past three seasons of the show.
Eight, played by Grace Park on "Battlestar Galactica," is a Cylon. There are many copies of Eight, but the ones we see most often are referred to as Boomer and Athena.
"Doctor Who" has been around for fifty years. Over the course of that time there have been several different incarnations of the great character known as The Doctor. Pictured to the right, though, are the two most recent incarnations: Eleven (played by the wonderful Matt Smith) and Ten (played by the brilliant David Tennant).
Claire Bennet, played by Hayden Panettiere on "Heroes," is a superhuman. She has the ability to regenerate cells rapidly, thus healing herself.
Castiel (more commonly referred to as 'Cas'), played by Misha Collins on "Supernatural," is an angel. He first appeared in the fourth season of the show.
Hayley, played by Phoebe Tonkin on "The Originals," is a werewolf. Tonkin previously played a mermaid on "H2O: Just Add Water."
Derek Hale, played by Tyler Hoechlin on "Teen Wolf," is a werewolf. He wasn't bitten, but was born into a family of werewolves.
Rebekah Mikaelson, played by Claire Holt on "The Originals," is one of the original vampires. Holt previously played a mermaid on "H2O: Just Add Water" (along with "Originals" co-star Phoebe Tonkin!).
Dracula, played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers on NBC's "Dracula," is a vampire. The show is a re-imagining of the "Dracula" novel by Bram Stoker.
Samantha Stephens, played by Elizabeth Montgomery on "Bewitched," was a witch married to a mortal. In order to perform a spell, Samantha would twitch her nose!
The character of Angel, a vampire played by David Boreanaz, originated on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." He then, though, got his own spin-off, aptly titled "Angel."
