Tune into the California Reggae festivals

California Music Festivals bring Reggae, Jazz and so much more!!!
California Music Festivals bring Reggae, Jazz and so much more!!!

Sacramento is known worldwide for its Old Town music festival once called the Jazz Jubilee. Today they have changed their focus to include a broad range of music genres and updated the name to reflect that change by calling it the Sacramento Music Festival. However, it still doesn't include Reggae on the billing. It might be a good idea to bring in at least one Reggae set or at least a Reggae influenced Rock band; but; if they don't, that's okay, Northern California is abundant with big Reggae festivals that can fulfill any Reggae lover's need for their kind of groove.

From Sacramento to Oroville, Humboldt County, Calaveras County and Guerneville there will be full weekend festivals taking place with dozens of performing artists from June through September. These festivals have a variety of Reggae and Reggae influenced music scheduled along with food, clothing, art and other vendors. The music will inspire, rock, and weave festival attendees with songs about unity, love, justice, social issues, earth's ecosystems and choosing positive paths. The variety of performing artists at each of these festivals will insure that the genre and its sister genres are fully represented and presented. You can check out some of the upcoming 2014 festivals featuring Reggae and other conscious music below. Now is a good time to start filling up the calendar for summer's best bets.
