Tucson book events this week: Three picks and other events going on

The Doomsday Key by James Rollins will be discussed by the Mystery Book Group at Antigone Books at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013.  This book is part of the Sigma Force series.   The book's author, James Rollins, is one of the authors that will be at the Tucson Festival of Books in March 2013.Elizabeth Gunn will be signing Eleven Little Piggies at Clues Unlimited at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013.  Eleven Little Piggies is part of her series featuring police detective Jake Hines as the main character.  This is the latest book in the series set in Minnesota.  This book involves a farm family fighting over farming or selling turning deadly.View the list »
Daniel Hernandez, author of They Call Me A Hero: A Memoir of My Youth, will be at the University of Arizona Bookstore in the Student Union Memorial Center to discuss his book at 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2013.  Daniel Hernandez is a survivor of the January 8, 2011 shooting and is considered a hero for helping save Gabrielle Giffords life.
