Top three stars shine bright in Swarm victory

The Minnesota Swarm traveled north to take on the Edmonton Rush on February 22 inside Rexall Place, only to come away with a commanding 13-8 Swarm victory.

Callum Crawford's return to the Minnesota line-up clearly energized the team. A nagging hamstring injury has kept Crawford out of previous games this season, but he displayed no signs of pain throughout the game on Friday.

Goaltender Evan Kirk struggled to start the game as the Rush found the back of the net 4 times in the opening quarter to take a 4-2 lead into the second quarter.

After a brief rest on the bench when Tyler Carlson took his place, Kirk returned to the floor with a completely different mind set. Kirk would only allow 4 goals from the second quarter to the final whistle.

The second quarter, along with the entire second half belonged to Minnesota, including a 4-goal run to end the game. No surprise then, all three stars of the game come off the Swarm bench. Did your favorite player make the list? Click below to find out.
