Grant it, Examiner.com only took in 15 of the 78 shows offered during this year's IndyFringe, but those chosen were carefully selected based on word of mouth and reviews gathered from Fringers in ticket lines (which surveys indicate is the best way to find out what the must sees are) at the various venues throughout the Mass Ave. Arts & Theater District in downtown Indianapolis.
There were other shows such as "Storyzilla - Full Frontal Human Movie," and "Underneath the Lintel" that were highly spoken of, and which this writer wishes he could have seen, but just couldn't fit into his schedule.
Nevertheless, the ten productions included were the best seen and merit special recognition. Of those listed, only "Cathedral City" and "Shakespeare Wrote What...?" were not reviewed by Examiner.com. If possible, see as many of these shows as you can before time runs out. You won't regret it. Fringe 13 continues until Sunday, Aug. 25.
