Top San Diego author events: Feb. 17 - Feb 23

Several events are taking place in San Diego this week at Mysterious Galaxy (www.mystgalaxy.com) for fiction fans. There’s mystery, mad scientists, and epic fantasy. Something sure to please any fiction-reading palate. All events are being held at Mysterious Galaxy, which is located at 7051 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., Suite 302, San Diego.

The visiting authors include Janice Steinberg (www.thetinhorse.com), who founded the San Diego Chapter of Sisters in Crime and writes the Margo Simon mystery series. Epic fantasy writer Peter Brett (www.petervbrett.com) will be visiting San Diego as part of his multinational book tour for “The Daylight War: Book Three of the Demon Cycle.” Rounding out this week’s list of events is the author of “The Mad Scientist’s Guide to World Domination,” John Joseph Adams (www.johnjosephadams.com).
