Houston has had a long tradition of competitive fighting game players over the past two decades. As early as 1991 when Street Fighter II first hit local arcades, competition was breaking out all over the city. Fast forward to today, and you can find communities for Super Street Fighter 4 AE 2012 and the multitude of other games released now. For many of the new players, their first introduction to competition is online through PSN or Xbox live. However, after they get done beating all of their friends list, or getting fed up with lag, they look for a new challenge.
