It could be argued that, while the sought to elect a conservative Congress by their votes in 2010 and 2012 when they elected a majority of Republicans, the numerous members of Congress that voted a far more moderate course have caused the Congress to far closer to centrist in their overall legislative output than anything close to conservative. But this list is a short list, namely the top five, of those members of Congress who have consistently cast votes as they promised they would to their constituents, and have consistently voted with the conservative view on nearly all legislation they voted on.
The state of Georga has two members on this list, Tom Graves and Paul Broun. The other three are Trent Franks of Arizona, Jeff Duncan of South Carolina, and Jim Jordan of Ohio. All of them, by ratings of the Madison Project, have scored of 96.5 percent or higher based on their voting records during the 2011-2012 session of Congress.
