Break out the green and head to Midtown for the annual St. Paddy's day parade on March 15. The parade starts at noon and is a family-friendly event filled with bands, dancers, floats and more. Exit at the Midtown or Arts Center station.

Head to Philips Arena on March 15 for Harlem hoops. The game starts at 1 p.m. next to the Dome MARTA station. A 30-minute interactive experience is from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Runners take over the streets on March 23 during the annual Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon. Both races begin in Centennial Olympic Park near two MARTA stations. The course winds through the city and passes near the Midtown, Inman Park, Georgia State, Five Points and East Lake and Decatur stations for those wanting to watch.
