Peachtree Road Race and Fireworks
Friday, July 4

If you're ever going to take MARTA, the Fourth of July is a pretty good day to hop on the train. The morning starts bright and early with the Peachtree Road Race outside the Buckhead and Lenox MARTA stations.

After dark, fireworks light up the sky next to the Lenox, Buckhead, Dome, Peachtree Center and Decatur MARTA stations. Plus, there's always a fireworks show at Turner Field. Traffic can be a pain, so be safe and take MARTA to the festivities.
