WWE Network, the long-in-the-works “hybrid” TV channel produced by WWEis reportedly set to finally launch in the first part of 2014.This news has yet to be confirmed officially by WWE, but insiders say the launch of the WWE Network in 2014 is likely with the upcoming end of WWE’s Classics On-Demand service.
Yet the Network has a lot of detractors and doubters who say it has been in-the-works for so long, how can it be possibly be successful? Skeptics and business experts outside of the wrestling world also have said if the Network is a failure at launch, it could deeply hurt the future of wrestling mastermind Vince McMahon and the WWE.
Pro Wrestling Examiner does not agree and thinks WWE should throw on some sunglasses as it’s future is going to be quite bright with the launch of the WWE Network. This new channel would drastically change the way most wrestling fans watch and follow the ring opera of the WWE. It could also solidify WWE as the absolute wrestling-oriented brand in the world.
