According to a Feb. 17 report from MMA Frenzy, the winner of Invicta FC’s featherweight bout between Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and Ediane Gomes will face Marloes Coenen for the Invicta FC featherweight title at Invicta FC 6 in July.

Coenen, 31, is a true MMA legend, and one of the sexiest female MMA stars in the world.

It's an undeniable fact that many fans of female MMA fit the demographic of males age 18-34, which makes sex appeal an interesting topic when it comes to the women's game.

Some fighters opt to use sex appeal to enhance their careers, while others are happy to focus on the fighting and not market themselves as models.

Bellator star Felice Herrig recently spoke to ProMMA about the role sexuality plays in marketing her MMA career.

"I do design all my outfits," Herrig said. "My next one is so awesome, but I can't tell [what it is]. I keep having to try to reinvent myself, try to top my last fight outfit. My last fight outfit was a schoolgirl. I know that's like every boy's fantasy. It's not like I'm trying to do this because it's hot. I have these ideas in my head. I'm creative and I have a marketing side to me. I design it, I come up with it and it is what it is."

Herrig is a fighter first, but her good looks help pay the bills. Her attractive physical appearance helps her land sponsorship deals, as she makes for an excellent brand representative.
