In the late 1980s Germans Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus were the former pop group, Milli Vanilli. Their debut album included the hit song, “Girl You Know It’s True.” It didn’t take long for the rumors to hit the tabloids that the two weren’t the ones singing on the tract. Instead, allegations that Morvan and Pilatus were lip-syncing surfaced. Not only were Morvan and Pilatus denying the rumors but their producer, Franz Farian vehemently denied the allegations for over a year. In November 1990, amid immense pressure from the press , Morvan and Pilatus, Farian was forced to admit that it was a fact that the two men who comprised the Milli Vanilli group were not the ones singing.
