There are three floors of crime and punishment history and education at the Washington, D.C. Crime Museum. You will want to plan at least three hours to peruse the exhibits, see the interactive displays, and learn about the history of policing, prisons, and crime.
The museum is located at 575 7th Street NW in Washington, D.C. Metro and bus stops are within easy walking distance. Get your tickets early (you can click HERE for ticket prices and orders). Photos are allowed but not flash, so be sure to set your cameras or bring a tripod.
Here are ten reasons why you should make this museum a "must see."
