More and more political, social, and economic issues are coming before the U.S. Supreme Court because the U.S. Constitution is often silent or, at best, equivocal on the subjects so laws are being created not by the self-governing citizens, but by the high court that is highly politicized. In other words, laws of the land are handed by judges with political agendas and loyalties instead of them simply interpreting the Constitutions's true spirit and meaning. It is time to breath new life to the nation’s sacred living document to fit the needs of the modern landscape.
