One of the coolest things about this app is that ‘Mix’ option. Basically you’re given a switchboard of ingredients. You pick all the ingredients you like in a drink including: espresso, chocolate, vanilla, whip cream, cinnamon, etc. and then at the bottom of the screen just flip the ‘switch’ and it ‘Mixes’ all your ingredients and then tells you what the ‘coffeehouse’ name of your concoction is so you can order with confidence. I almost didn't add this to my 'Top 10 Apps for Coffee Lovers', but it has some really great functions I would love to see other coffeehouses adopt.This app is all about getting you to spend money. The most innovative feature in this app is this gift card/coffee card sync and scan. When you buy a Starbucks card or get one as a gift, this app allows you to enter the card information and sync the balance on to your phone. Then you can toss the card, because all you have to do to pay is open the app, push ‘Touch to Pay’ and let the barista scan your phone. That’s it. You don’t need you wallet at all.Not only can you set the app to automatically refill your card when it dwindles to five or ten dollars, but you can send virtual cards to friends, build rewards, and obtain weekly free iTunes song downloads. This week I got a free song from Bruno Mars.If you’re overwhelmed by the coffee options and the food menu, this app is a time saver. It has an extensive food and drink menu, as well as a the ability to tell it what you like and it will tell you how to order it. The thing about Coffee Break Pro is that although it doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles and there's nothing super fancy about it, but it does exactly what you want it to do-- gives you a coffee break.Set as many timers as you need: Waking up, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert, Before Bed, any time.
