Kimberly writes, "Wahooo! Well, this was super hard to try and narrow down. I’m sure I’m leaving out some greats, but this is my top 10 list of classic horror films that everyone should see!"

"Horror Happenings Terrorble Top 10 List of Classic Horror Films Everybody Should See" by Kimberly Magness

1. Exorcist- (1973) In my opinion, the scariest movie of all time! I watched this for the first time when I was 10 years-old, attending Catholic school, yadda yadda.. you get it!

2. Rosemary’s Baby- (1968) A true horror classic! Really put Mia Farrow on the map.

3. Whatever Happened To Baby Jane- (1962) Two true Hollywood starlets as you’ve never seen them before, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Shows what show business can really do to you! ;);)

4. The Bad Seed- (1956) This movie defines how little kids can be creepy. However, the curtain call at the end is quite possibly my favorite moment of the film!

5. Psycho- (1960) Alfred Hitchcock is brilliant, and Anthony Perkins’ performance is amazing. And who can forget the shower scene?! I mean, c’mon!

6. The Shining- (1980) Heeeeeere’s Johnny! Even with the awful casting of Shelley Duvall, this movie still holds strong and stands the test of time! Redrum!

7. Frankenstein- (1931) Boris Karloff portrays Frankenstein brilliantly! His interpretation and vision of Frankenstein has carried through to the current representation of him!

8. Play Misty For Me- (1971) Beware of the crazy, stalker woman! Before Fatal Attraction and Misery, there was this little gem!

9. Nosferatu- (1922)- The original vampire classic. The shadows alone are enough to give you the creeps!

10. The Birds- (1963) Who ever thought to be scared of a bird? This movie proves that you can find the evil in almost anything and scare the crap out of us with what society knows as a gentle, harmless creature.
