The Times Union Center for Performing Arts has a month packs with some exciting dance, comedy, musicals and exciting Broadway entertainment. The Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts is a center for professional and community artistry in downtown Jacksonville. A cornerstone of the downtown area, this beautiful three-venue facility is committed to supporting a wide range of entertainment experiences at the highest level of professionalism. The Times-Union Center is home to three performance facilities. The Jim and Jan Moran Theater has 3,000 seats and is designed for amplified performances. The Robert E. Jacoby Symphony Hall has 1,800 seats and is designed for non-amplified stage events. The C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry Theater has 600 seats, and is a multi-purpose hall with stage.
The Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts is a comprehensive performing and visual arts facility at Florida State College at Jacksonville's South Campus. The Center serves as a state of the art learning facility for students and a quality arts venue for the entire community. Housed in glass, a two story lobby leads patrons to the art gallery, a main proscenium theatre with 500 seats, the studio theatre designed for productions with smaller audiences and the Conference Center which is available for business meetings, conferences, fund raisers and social gatherings. The Center's programming includes a variety of offerings such as opera, dance, multidisciplinary productions that integrate visual art, music, theatre and the humanities.
