Many common products that we use every day are often overlooked when preparing Bug Out Bags (BOB). Your bag should include the essentials to survive 72 hours after a disaster. There are many items we use on a day to day basis that could be beneficial in your BOB. Large zip ties, paperclips, superglue, Vaseline, iodine drops, nail clippers, fishing kit, and a light weight trowel. Other standard contents are a three day food supply, water, and a change of clothes. In assembling your bag, it may be wise to consider what you use in a typical day. It may also be wise to consider items that have multiple uses.
