The University of Nebraska- Lincoln is home to multiple museums, some better known than others. One that is not as well known but should be visited more is the Great Plains Art Museum. Celebrating the history of the great plains, the heritage of native Americans and settlers in bronze sculpture, paintings and more. The museum is free to the public. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed Mondays, holiday weekends, and between exhibitions
