Thanksgiving has come and passed and now people are transitioning their focus to Christmas and the end of the year. As focus shifts, stop for a second and count some blessings. Here is a list of positives to be truly thankful for.
Be thankful for food. In America the tradition is to celebrate the harvest and to eat a lot of food in fellowship while thanking God for all the food. Today, it has turned into a celebration of grocer stores and even bigger gut-busting meals, with little from the "harvest." But we should still be grateful. Not every country is so blessed to be able to afford such ridiculous meals.
The economy is coming back slowly. This is great news! 1) Falling gasoline prices are falling.2) There are fewer layoffs. 3) Home prices are rising. 4) There are more job openings. 5) Debt burdens keeps on falling. 6) Stock prices are rising. All are great news!
Family, even when you are not pleased with them, are worth celebrating. Even in hardship, families come together and help each other out. Healthy families are a blessing.
Mental Health Care
Mental Health access in America is something to celebrate. Dispute some of the many problems and questions about Obamacare, one excellent benefit is greater access to mental health. A lot of countries do not have this, so it is something to be thankful for.
