Kelly Rowland is coaching the contestants over the age of 25 on "The X Factor" this season. The "X Factor" top 16 spoilers were released on Sept. 22, 2013. Kelly Rowland has chosen James Kinney, Jeffrey Adam Gutt, Lillie McCloud and Rachel Potter as her favorites to win "The X Factor" in 2013.
The next step is for Kelly to coach her singers on singing, style and stage presence. Last year's winner, Tate Stevens, came from this group. Meet the four contestants that will be working with Kelly Rowland this season on "The X Factor."
James Kenney is a 36-year-old husband and father from West Hollywood, Calif. James made it pretty far when he tried out for "X Factor" in 2011, but he was cut before the live shows.
Jeffrey Adam Gutt is a single father from Detroit who was on season 2 of "The X Factor." Jeff was cut before the live shows last year. Simon and Demi raved about his voice to the two new judges, but they were not impressed when he sang “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing." Simon stopped the audition and asked Jeff to sing a different song. He then sang "Creep" by Radiohead which got him four yeses.
Lillie McCloud is a 54-year-old grandmother from Orlando, Florida. She sang "Alabaster Box" and blew the judges away. Lillie McCloud had a successful singing career since the 80's under the name Nicole McCloud. She is eligible to compete on "The X Factor" because she is currently an unsigned artist.
Rachel Potter is a 29-year-old bartender originally from Florida now living in Nashville. She sang a country version of “Somebody to Love.”
Locally you can view "The X Factor" every Wednesday and Thursday on FOX channel WAWS 30 in Jacksonville.
