The first is the comedy hit, "Drama" by Raina Telgemeier. It is a funny middle school story about a young girl named Callie who loves theater but can't quite make it as anything but the set designer. While working on the play she meets two cute brothers that change her perspective and her world upside down.

The second book is a drama titled, "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green. It is a touching story of a young girl with cancer that meets some interesting other friends at a cancer kid support group. It is a touching story that really helps children see the world that other children live in.

And the third book is "The Kiss" (The Witch and Wizard series #4) by James Patterson and Jill Dembowski tells the romantic paranormal tale of what happens next in the magical world of Whit and Whisty Allgood, a young witch and wizard.
