It seems that almost every other week a new movie comes out that is being presented in 3D. That trend may ease up a little as 3D movies ticket sales were down in 2013. The 3D explosion happened largely thanks to 2009's "Avatar". In that year, there were not enough movies to make a top ten best and worst 3D movie list, but ever since then there are more than enough to complete each list.
The problem most moviegoers has with 3D movies is that very often they don't get enough bang for the extra moola they have to spend to see a movie in that format. James Cameron used the art as a way to enhance the movie going experience. A good number of 3D movies these days are not even shot using 3D cameras. They shoot in 2D and convert to 3D in post-production and the sole reason seems to only be to get those extra dollars from the public's pockets. The public is catching on and if movie studios are not careful, there may come a year when there are no longer enough 3D movies to compile a best and worst list. Until that time, here are the top ten WORST 3D movies of 2013.
