The top 5 commercial spots of the Super Bowl 2013

 Who knew the detergent Tide could entertain so much? Tide’s ‘Miracle Stain’ ad takes third place for doing so. The comical ad stars a 49ers fan that finds a miracle Joe Montana stain on his jersey and gains crazy popularity and money. That is until his wife, a Ravens fan ‘innocently’ washes his stained shirt.  Next up is Samsung’s Next Big Thing spot featuring Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, LeBron James, and Bob Odenkirk, which fans all know as the beloved attorney from “Breaking Bad” Saul Goodman. The spot provides several one liners from the duo Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen. It’s also a lot longer than other features. Topping nearly everyone's list is the hilarious Taco Bell ‘Viva Young’ commercial. This ad had everyone cracking up and is now getting millions of hits on YouTube. After the Super Bowl game last night, audiences are now searching the web to get all the recaps. Not of the game though, but of the best and funniest commercials of course! On Monday, Feb. 4, sites like MTV and Washington Post have released their list on the top 5 Super Bowl commercials of 2013.

From movie trailer debuts, sneak peeks, and humorous commercials, the Super Bowl featured them all. It was tough to select only five. In fact, most sites have lists featuring their favorite 14 commercial spots, unable to slim the list down.

Some honorable mentions are: Best Buy’s Asking Amy, Volkswagen, Get In, Get Happy, Doritos Fashionista Dad, and Mercedes, Coolest Man in the World.

  •  It would not be a successful Super Bowl if it didn’t feature babies of some sort. Kia,‘Space Babies’ did just that – with a commercial starring both adorable animal and human babies in space. This hilariously cute ad is a parent’s explanation to their child of where babies come from. 
  •  Lastly, while the majority of “The Walking Dead” fans were watching the zombie apocalypse marathon, a few tuned in or caught Time Warner Cable’s Walking Dead feature after the game. It stars a housewife cleaning her house from guts and walkers. Norman Reedus also stars as Daryl Dixon on a killing spree in the family home.
