From 1980 to 1995, Gary Larson's The Far Side was syndicated in almost 2,000 newspapers daily nationwide. Depending on one's sense of humor, it is arguably the best comic strip of all time. Larson brought us things such as wiener dog art, human-like cows and dogs, and funnier cavemen than Gieco could have ever dreamed. The Far Side pondered life and every social situation within it through people or his unparalleled anthropomorphic view of the world. The Far Side was truly an influence in my own life, as it literally shaped my own sense of humor as I was growing up with it.
Of all of the subject Larson tackled in The Far Side, music was one of the best. Check out 10 of his best dealing with the subject of music.
