October 4, 2013

There are many names being thrown into the mix for who might be the eventual University of Southern California (USC) Trojans head coach. However, there really is only a handful or so who truly would qualify for and work best at USC.

I’ll admit I’m one who has put different lists together, running the gambit including whether they were longshots, NFL guys or other assorted groups (see related articles) contending for the high-profile job. Still, in the end, Athletic Director Pat Haden and the Trojans administration have probably already narrowed the field.

These six listed here come from both college and the NFL. These are the men who either are huge stars rising in the ranks, coaches who have exhausted their ability to improve rebuilt programs or qualified professionals coming home.

The six coaches on this list are the most likely to be the next head coach for the USC Trojans (listed alphabetically).
