The Vermont Flower Show begins Friday, March 1, 2013.

It is located at the Champlain Valley Exposition, 105 Pearl Street, Essex Junction.

The hours of operation are 10 am - 6 pm, Friday and Saturday and 10 am - 4 pm, Sunday.

Elmer and Bertha Brown were family friends of this examiner growing up. We were members of the same church and Elmer sang in the North Country Chordsmen barbershop chorus with my father.

One of this examiner's favorites from the nursery was a flowering crab apple tree that flourished at the end of the driveway year after year.
