For no particular reason, The Resort at Port Ludlow has eluded me since its opening in 1994. Although only a ferry and drive away from my home on Whidbey Island, I never made it to the popular Olympic Peninsula destination. But after spending four days on the Olympic Culinary Loop in April, I made my debut at the inn on the final night of my 220-mile road trip. What a wonderfully quiet and peaceful getaway, nestled along the shores of Ludlow Bay, with views of Mt. Baker and the Cascades.
Now through July 2, The Resort at Port Ludlow is offering the Easy-Peazy Package. It includes one night's accommodation, $50 credit to The Fireside Restaurant and a discount on spa services. Rates start at $159.
