If you didn’t know what was happening downtown this past weekend, you may want to make plans on attending the festivities of One Spark JAX next year. The 2015 event should be around the same time next year. The three top-voted creator projects in each category with crowdfunding and award totals can be seen in the photo lists along with the amount of money and the number of votes each Creator received.

About One Spark: One Spark, The World’s Crowdfunding Festival, is committed to fostering environments of creativity and innovation by showcasing artists, entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world for five days every spring in downtown Jacksonville, Fla. Creators are provided a platform to connect their ideas with resources to make it happen. The festival is an interactive experience that allows attendees to support ideas and projects that inspire them and decide on the next big thing. One Spark 2014 was held April 9 -13, 2014. They are a group of concerned citizens who want to dramatically increase the number of tourists, visitors, and conventioneers to downtown Jacksonville. AquaJAX anticipates increasing those numbers by over 1,000,000 a year through our partnership with the Jacksonville Zoo.  The added numbers visiting Jacksonville will mean substantial increases in revenues to businesses and the City. #20232
