The 28th Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner to cure paralysis took place on September 30, 2013 at the legendary Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
Celebrities, sports legends, philanthropic and corporate leaders came in support to raise funds to support The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. The legends dinner included a performance by Broadway's Jersey Boys.
Guests included Bob Costas, Scott Erickson, Emilio Estefan, Colin Egglesfield, Dick Anderson, Terry Bradshaw, Dave Winfield, Nick Faldo, Shawn Johnson, Jim Kelly, Kenny Smith, James Worthy, Jill Martin, Gary Stevens, Teresa Edwards and many others.

Beginning in 1985, the Great Sports Legends Dinner has raised nearly $93 million for The Miami Project. The Miami Project’s includes more than 300 scientists, clinicians, researchers and support staff who take innovative approaches to the challenges of brain, spinal cord injuries.
