Thanksgiving is coming! Okay, yes, Halloween still has to come and go. But Halloween is easy (relatively) compared to the greatest feast of the year. However, when you’re vegetarian or vegan, Thanksgiving can be quite a challenge!
This year, my boyfriend and I will be celebrating alone, as we are currently far from home. While this definitely has its fair share of cons (sorry mom and dad!) there is one big pro (well, two, if you count not having to battle traffic). The thing I’m looking forward to is creating my very own all vegan Thanksgiving dinner. And not having to look at a giant dead bird. And not having to listen to the same tired jokes about my life choices. But that’s neither here nor there!
Since I’m tackling this alone, I’ve chosen some recipes that are delicious but not so much on the challenging side (except the Unturkey but trust me it’s totally worth it). I’ve made them all before, which is the true key to ultimate feast success, so I’m giving these to you far enough in advance that you can practice. Make one to take with you to share with your family- or make them all for a supremely impressive dinner!
