The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures is hosting a Teacher Appreciation Night from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. The event is free for educators (register online here prior to event). The event provides educators with an introduction to the museum and using miniatures in education.
The Teacher Appreciation Night features docent-led tours. There will also be Art Cart demos and a quick craft project. Additionally, there will be an outreach information station and refreshments provided by Oreganos. Educators will also receive a lesson plan they can use in their classroom and two free admission tickets to use to visit again.
About the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures: The Mini Time Machine Museum has a variety of miniature displays including a fairy Enchanted Forest themed area. The museum regularly has events for kids on Saturdays that include making miniature crafts. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The first Thursdays of the month the museum is open until 8 p.m.
