Swedish death metal band Entrails is set to release its third album, “Raging Death”, via Metal Blade Records on May 14th in North America. The band’s first two albums, “Tales from the Morgue” and “The Tomb Awaits”, were released by F.D.A. Rekotz.
Entrails purports to claim its origins in the early 1990s when the Swedish death metal scene was in full bloom with bands such as Entombed, Carnage, Dismember, Grave, and Unleashed leading the way.
The band, however, never released any music during this time, even an official demo, due to dissatisfaction with the quality of the music. It was not until 2008 that Jimmy Lundqvist dug up some old tapes and decided to resurrect the project.
One song on the new album, called “Death League” will feature a collaboration with several renowned death metal vocalists: Kam Lee, Jörden Sandström, Rogga Johansson, and Dan Swanö.
