One of America's favorite television awards is set to air tonight. The 66th Annual PrimeTime Emmys will be held at the Nokia Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences brings out all of the best that Hollywood has to offer and they never fail when it comes to showing up and showing out on the red carpet.
Sarah Hyland in Christian Siriano
Perfection! The Modern Family Star looked amazing in her two piece ensemble showing the perfect amount of skin. The coral skirt Sarah wore was perfect for this year's Emmys especially considering the heat wave sweeping the nation. She was the epitome of young and fresh with her ballerina bun and simple makeup. It is safe to say that she was one of the best dressed of the night!
KeKe Palmer in Rubin Singer
The first black Cinderella set to be on Broadway stunned the onlookers in a bold, blue mermaid gown by Rubin Singer. She told US Weekly, “It’s the first time I’m going to the Emmys as an adult, and my life is changing, so this is a moment for me where I feel like a princess. I knew the dress was the one because I felt like I could do anything — it was almost fairy tallish.” KeKe is not the little girl we remember from Akeelah and The Bee. She was a sight to see on the carpet and it was the perfect preview for her debut in Rodgers and Hammerstein's fairy-tale musical.
Laverne Cox in Marc Bouwer
Flawless. There is no other way to define the beauty that Laverne Cox exemplified at this year's Emmys. She has been the topic of many conversations as she is the first transgender woman to ever be nominated for an Emmy award. She looked like an angel in this custom-made, white gown by Marc Bouwer. The gown draped her body immaculately; her pinned up hair and glowing makeup completed the effortless look.
