Balsamic vinegar brings out the sweetness of strawberries.

Begin with 8 strawberries, 1 Tbsp of balsamic vinegar, 2 Tbsp sugar, 1/4 cup red wine

Place balsamic vinegar, sugar, and wine into a saucepan. Heat until boiling, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and pour into a glass bowl.

While balsamic syrup is cooling, wash and cut strawberries in slices or quarters. Add strawberries to syrup and stir to coat. Let marinate for 15 minutes. Do not let sit longer than 30 minutes or strawberries won't be as crisp as you might like.

Oatmeal, yogurt and strawberries

Make over night oatmeal:
Take your oatmeal, milk and vanilla extract and mix together in a small bowl. Refrigerate over night or for at least 1.5 - 2 hours
In the morning line a mason jar in this order:
1/3 cup of greek yogurt
1/4 cup of strawberries
1/4 cup of blueberries
half of the oatmeal
1/4 tbsp of Sunflower Nut Butter
1/3 cup of greek yogurt (remaining greek yogurt)
1/4 cup of strawberries
1/4 cup of blueberries
rest of the oatmeal
1/4 tbsp of Sunflower Nut Butter
a few sliced strawberries and some blueberries

This is so good and fills you for about 5 hours
