There are many misconceptions about consuming dairy and milk products. Some say that adults shouldn't drink milk and it only for children and their growth. But milk and dairy products provide calcium, protein, and sometimes contain probiotics that help digestion.
Lowfat dairy products are not necessarily better for you. Fat is needed in dairy to digest properly, so eat full fat dairy foods, just in moderation.
A great was to add dairy to you diet is in small doses and snacks. A two once portion of cheese with diced fruit or nuts is a fun snack. Smoothies or protein shakes are great too. Or add dairy to your dinner by stuffing chicken breasts with feta and roasted tomatoes, or experiment with adding different cheeses to salads, wraps and sandwiches.
