A small area of low pressure is moving across Ohio today bringing numerous showers and clouds to the area. The rain and clouds will hold temperatures in the 50s for most of the day. With a few peaks of late afternoon sunshine, we should be able to briefly hit 60 degrees for a high. Expect clearing skies this evening with temperatures falling quickly through the 50s. Rain will come to an end by late afternoon.
Lows on Saturday morning will be in the middle to upper 40s. A few isolated morning showers cannot be ruled out either. As we head into the afternoon, some sun will begin to peak back out and that will help boost temperatures into the upper 60s. Expect a mix of sun and clouds for your Sunday as well thanks to some lingering moisture in the middle levels of the atmosphere. Highs will be a little bit cooler in the lower to middle 60s.
Next week is looking quite stormy across the Ohio Valley so be sure to enjoy the relatively nice weather this weekend while you still can! A large upper level low pressure system will develop and spin over a good portion of the Midwest for the majority of next week.
We will start off in the cool zone on Monday with highs in the 50s and scattered showers likely. A warm front will bring warmer temperatures for the middle of the week but showers and thunderstorms will be likely. The weather will cool down but stay unsettled for the end of next week. Have a great day!
