Spring Break is one of the most popular times for high school and college students to get away with their peers and enjoy a week of fun. Over the years, many of the popular places for these trips have been to an international destination, such as Mexico and the Caribbean, while in the USA, different places in Florida have been at the top of the list. This year, with the economy still not as robust as one would like, staying closer to home is an excellent idea. One of the cost saving reasons, not to go overseas, students do not need a passport or visa; another is the hours spent flying to many of these destinations.
In California there are many exciting cities to visit, such as Palm Springs where one is sure to have warm weather, sunshine and blue skies, as well as lots of activities. Las Vegas is another destination that encourages students to come and enjoy, not only the casinos, but the many activities available venturing away from the gambling mecca. Skiers, visiting the right spots in California and Colorado will find snow for skiing in March and April, as well as many discounts and activities to encourage them to spend their 'spring break there'.
