Spring is finally here! While the snow and cold weather may not be gone in all regions, it’s time to start thinking about your spring cleaning checklist. In the spring most people throw out all the things they don’t need any more and reorganize what they have left.
Get your spring cleaning checklist ready so when the weather permits, you will be all set. Some of the more obvious tasks on a spring cleaning checklist include de-cluttering, reorganizing, and the normal cleaning. Spring offers the perfect weather to open your windows and let fresh air flow through your house so take the opportunity to clean the things that get overlooked during normal cleaning.
For example: The walls and ceilings. Sure you scrub off crayon and obvious marks on the regular but what about all the things you can’t see, like dust or grease. Vacuuming regularly is good to cut down on daily grime in your household; put shampooing your carpet on your spring cleaning checklist this year. Shampooing your rugs and carpet every once in a while will keep them looking new and get rid of the deep down dirt you can’t necessarily see.
When cleaning your bathroom this spring put throwing out old cosmetics to your list. It’s not something many people consider when they think spring cleaning but throwing out old cosmetics and medications is important.
