Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were on hand at the Magic Kingdom for the media preview party of their brand new ride. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster was up and running for the party, and its namesakes were mingling around to take photos with the crowd.
Check out the photos accompanying this article to see my meetings with each of the Seven Dwarfs, and of course Snow White herself. You'll see them all if you hop on board the ride when it makes it official debut on May 28. You'll see the dwarfs in the mine, but Snow White doesn't show up until the very end. Keep an eye out if you want to see the Evil Queen in her witch guise, too. She's there right before the end of the ride.

Even though the new ride is named after the Seven Dwarfs, it's certainly fitting that Snow White was on hand for the party. After all, the classic movie is her story, even though the dwarfs play a prominent role, and she's the star of the very first Disney Princess movie.
When Disney fans are asked, "Who is your favorite out of the Seven Dwarfs?", the answer is often "Dopey!" His quiet countenance and wide-eyed innocence has universal appeal. Even though he might goof things up at time, he's still one of the most beloved of the dwarfs.
Is it any wonder that Bashful is hiding behind me as we get our photo together? He's the shy member of the miniature miners, but don't worry. If you meet him at the Magic Kingdom, he'll soon come out of his shell to pose with you.
Poor Sneezy! Pretty much any time of year is allergy season for him, and I'm sure that living in Florida, where the weather is warm year 'round, makes it worse. He'll do his best to hold back a sneeze until you can snap your shot.
Thankfully, I managed to find Sleepy before it got too late. He was already looking a little drowsy when I tracked him down near the mine, but I still managed to get a photo. I wonder how well he'll do when the Magic Kingdom stays open for 24 hours straight later this month.
Happy lives up to his name, and I can see why. How can you not be happy when you're in Walt Disney World at the Magic Kingdom? If that's not enough, you're sure to smile when you ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and even when you're just exploring the queue line.
Dopey's a real crowd pleaser, but so his his crankier house mate, Grumpy. Just about everyone has those grumpy days every now and then. With as much fun as I was having, I'll admit to feeling a bit grumpy myself when the party drew to a close and I had to take my very last ride on the mine train.
Where would the Seven Dwarfs be without their intrepid leader, Doc? He's the brains of the outfit and the one who keeps things together. Of course, I had to stop by to compliment him on the mine train, as it's quite an impressive feat (I know he had a little help from the Imagineers).
