Princess Fairytale Hall has been under construction at the Magic Kingdom for over a year, and September 18, 2013, marks its official debut. I was fortunate to be able to get a sneak preview of this new princess greeting area, which is located where the former Snow White ride once stood. Although it was great fun to see all the princess portraits and meet Rapunzel and a friend, checking out all the detailed decor was almost as much fun as the greeting itself.
If you'd like to see the princess portraits, jump to part two of this article. In addition to the artwork, take a look around you and notice all the details that go from ceiling to floor, including crown-shaped chandeliers and tile mosaics in the flooring. You'll even seen storybooks containing the classic takes upon which the princess's stories are based. However, my favorite detail was the glass slipper display from Cinderella.
Check out the list accompanying this article to see some of those details. It makes the wait go by much faster as you move through the queue line to see either Cinderella or Rapunzel (both will also have a princess friend on hand, so you'll always get two character photos).
