If you have not had a chance to enjoy the nice weather yet this weekend, you still have some time! While a few clouds are rolling in today, no rain will be falling from them through at least the afternoon. Expect temperatures to be in the lower 80s around 6 p.m. and fall into the 70s during the evening hours. This will make it feel quite a bit warmer than last night.
A weak weather system may bring a shower or two to the region tonight. The chance will be mainly after midnight, but a brief sprinkle could occur this evening. Any outdoor plans should still be fine! The small chance for a shower or storm will persist into Sunday. The chance is only around 20 percent so most locations will remain dry. Highs will still be in the lower 80s on Sunday with partly cloudy skies.
Summer has its sights set on the Ohio Valley once again this week. Temperatures are going to be heading for the 90s and the humidity will make a comeback also. Expect the heat to last through Wednesday when a cold front is poised to arrive. This could bring a good threat for thunderstorms. Behind the front, much cooler air will arrive. In fact some forecast models are showing the coolest air mass of the season so far! Stay tuned for updates on the weather this weekend and upcoming week.
