Six reasons to visit the Children's Discovery Museum

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The museum is closed on Mondays, except during June, July and August and select school holidays; when open, Monday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $6 for both children and adults. Kids under two are free. All museum exhibits are covered in this fee, and readmission is permitted at any point in the day.

The museum regularly offers special programming for children and families. These include homeschool classes, early childhood programs, day camps and family nights.
