Our skin can sometimes show the ravages of weather, health issues or tiredness. A yogurt facial mask can rejuvenate tired skin, and bring out a naturally healthy glow.
Here is an easy to make, inexpensive yogurt facial that will do wonders for your skin and keep your checkbook happy too.
The ingredients needed are:
2 tablespoons thick plain yogurt.
2 drops chamomile essential oil.
A tip to remember is if the yogurt is runny, just strain through a piece of cheesecloth. Bottles of essential oil can be found at Community Pharmacy, Whole Foods or Willy Street Co Op, and though the initial purchase may seem a bit pricey, the bottle of oil will last for a long time.
Directions on making the mask:
- Mix yogurt and chamomile essential oil.
- Smooth onto face and neck using gentle, upward strokes.
- Leave mask on for 15 minutes then gently rinse off using tepid water.
- Pat dry, then smooth on moisturizer.
