Shower Puff Easter Wreath

Once you have attached all of the puffs, they might still feel a little loose.  Use a needle and thread and run a stitch through the puffs on the back side of the wreath. Continue to attach the shower puffs and until the wreath form is full.  As they fill out the form, the shower puffs begin to look more like flowers than something you use in the bathroom. I cut the string attached to the shower puff in half, and then used the two ends to tie it to the wreath form.  Try to tie it securely, but if you cant it will be reinforced in a later step.View the list »
All of the items used for the wreath were available at the dollar store or the Dollar Spot at Target.  I found shower puffs in packs of 2 at Target, which really helped with the cost. You will also need a wreath form, a bag of plastic eggs, and ribbon, all of which I found at the dollar store.

  • Many plastic Easter Eggs have small holes on the top and bottom of the egg.  This makes the process of attaching the eggs much easier.  Run a needle with thread through both ends of the egg.  You might have to open the egg to run it through, if the egg is on the bigger side. Place the egg where you want it and secure it with the thread on the back side of the wreath. Add as many or as few eggs as you like. 
  • Find a ribbon that matches or coordinates with the color scheme of your wreath. Tie a large bow and place it where desired on the wreath. Use your needle and thread to secure it, and really keep it in place.  
  • Hang your wreath and enjoy your handiwork. This wreath is a good one to hang on the door, because it's materials (other than the ribbon) are made to get wet.
