Sweet potato crescent rolls

Ingredients

1 can of crescent rolls

1 can of sweet potatoes

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

2 tablespoons of vanilla

1/2 cup of sugar

1/4 cup of brown sugar (optional)

1/4 cup of butter

Sweet potato crescent rolls

Pour can of sweet potatoes in medium saucepan.  Mix in cinnamon, vanilla, sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Simmer on medium heat for ten minutes stirring occasionally.

Open crescent rolls and separate each triangle by perforated edges provided.

Put teaspoon of sweet potato mixture inside crescent roll dough.

Roll crescent dough with sweet potatoes inside.

 

Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown on baking sheet.

Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown on baking sheet.

 

Remove from oven, let cool for 1 minute, and remove from baking sheet.

Once removed from baking sheet, let cool for at least five minutes. 

 

Once cooled, enjoy the taste of a pastry with sweet filled delight.
