We love to attend functions at the world-famous Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville. As we keep an eye out for musical events in Nashville, we are checking around all of the downtown music venues, plus some that are in outlying areas, too.
The Ryman Auditorium, plus the Bridgestone Arena and several more venues bring in lots of singers and songwriters to the downtown area each week. What we especially like about the Ryman Auditorium is the history, and the fact that it is known as the 'mother-church' for country music and all it stands for in Music City USA.
If you were to ask many of our singer and songwriter musician friends in Nashville where they would like most to be able to play or perform a concert, it is a sure thing that their answers would be 'the Ryman Auditorium' as it is considered to be the ultimate height of being able to make your musician dreams come true, to play on that famous stage of the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman.
